Since coming here to attand the University of Denver, I've always lived in this part of town. I currently live in the west side of Centennial, which used to be considered Littleton. (confusing, I know.) So I really consider Littleton my hometown now. I live with my wife Sherry, who is an executive with Lepreno Foods, We have a daughter Jennifer with two grandkids; Josh 17 attending Arapahoe High School, and Heather at Powell Middle School. We spend alot of time doing activities with the grandkids, who only live a block away.
I grew up caddying in Chicago and that instilled in me a love of golf. I play as often as I can now and we have a family place near Tampa where we meet a few times a year for our own little golf tournamnets.
That caddying led to working in the clubhouse, where I fell in love with the food business. After getting a business Degree from the Hotel School at DU, I wound up in the hotel resort and convention business where I had a chance to meet numerous celebrities, and actually cooked for 4 US Presidents. I still get to do a little catering doing all the neighborhood parties here at our house.
My grampa got me interested in trains and got me my first Lionel when I was 5. I've still got that train, and next year it's going to run around the tree in the center of the buffet table at our Christmas Parties. I know it's pretty geeky, but I've also got a N-gauge layout in the basement, and a G-Scale running in our backyard. I tell Sherry they're for the kids,.. but, well, you know.
